1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Textalyz, whether through our Chrome Extension, Slack App, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Overview of Our Services

Textalyz provides AI-powered tools to improve written communication via:
A Chrome Extension for rewriting, grammar correction, translation, and summarization.
A Slack integration using the /send command to perform similar actions inside Slack.
These services are intended to help users express themselves more clearly, especially in professional and multilingual settings.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Textalyz. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Account & Authentication

You may log in to Textalyz via Google or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. We are not responsible for any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Free and Paid Plans

Free Plan:
Access is limited by monthly credits.
Pro Plan:
Grants higher credit limits and advanced features for a fee.
Custom Plan:
Tailored for teams and enterprises with scalable usage and custom billing.
Plans may change over time. We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with notice.

6. Credits and Usage

1 credit = 1 AI action (rewrite, summarize, fix grammar, or translate)
Credits reset monthly according to your plan
Unused credits do not roll over unless otherwise specified
Abuse of services (e.g., scraping, automation, misuse) will lead to account suspension

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Textalyz only for lawful, respectful, and non-abusive communication. You must not:
Use the tool to create, distribute, or promote hate speech, spam, or harmful content
Reverse-engineer or attempt to copy or reproduce the service
Use automated tools to excessively consume resources

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Key points:
We do not store or analyze your writing content
Auth tokens are stored securely
Slack messages are processed in real time and not saved
Payment data is handled via Paddle (not stored on our servers)

9. Data Security

We follow industry best practices to protect your data. While we strive for high availability and security, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or error-free performance.

10. Third-Party Services

Textalyz integrates with third-party platforms such as:
Slack (via OAuth permissions)
Chrome (via browser APIs)
Paddle (for payment processing)
By using our services, you also agree to their respective terms and policies.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Textalyz after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Textalyz if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or pose a security risk. You may cancel your account at any time.

13. Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact dev@textalyz.com within 7 days of purchase if you believe you’re eligible for one.

14. Limitation of Liability

Textalyz is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.
